Making your own anal dildo can be quite the daunting project, especially for those new to the world of DIY sex toys. Trust me when I say I was terrified to make one, but curiosity got the better of me and I knew I had to try it. So, after doing a bit of research, I decided to give it a shot. I thought this experience was invaluable enough to share, so here’s my step-by-step guide on creating a safe, custom made anal dildo.
The first thing you’ll need to get your hands on is a mold container. You don’t need the fanciest, most expensive one, just something to securely contain the silicone necessary to make the dildo. I opted for the cheapest container I could find at my local hardware store.
Once you’ve got a container that’s of reasonable quality, it’s time to pick up the silicone. Now before you buy just any old kind, you need to make sure it’s one specifically meant for making sex toys. That non-toxic stuff used for home repairs definitely won’t do. After a bit of research, I decided to go with a smooth, hypoallergenic, body-safe material called platinum-cured silicone.
Next, I made sure to set the entire work area with newspapers to avoid any messes. And then, I began to mix the two parts of the platinum-cured silicone according to the instructions on the packet. Once that was done, I whacked it into the container and made sure it spread evenly throughout.
It was then time to let the silicone set. I had to wait at least 24 hours for the mold to cure, sex dolls so I used that time to procure the objects that I wanted to use as inserts in the dildo. My personal preference goes for natural materials like stones and crystals – heck I even threw in an old wire that I found lying in the garden – why not!
Once, I had all my inserts, I shoved them into the solidified silicone. After that, it was time to carefully pour the remaining liquid silicone – a bit at a time – forming a sort of outer mold. I had to be patient with this part to make sure the air bubbles were completely sorted out. Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, the silicone decided to reach a consistency thick enough to become a self-standing dildo.
The last step, to get the perfect dildo, was to take out all the messy parts, like the old newspaper and the inside mold. After that, I carefully detached the dildo from the mold container and there I was – I had made my wild imagination into a reality.
